For the eMockproject, our team followed a strategic, user-centered process from start to finish. We began by diving into discovery sessions with the client to understand the pain points students and parents face during 11+ exam preparation. Based on this, we planned a solution that would simplify access to mock exams, automate scoring, and provide detailed performance insights. Our design phase focused on creating an intuitive and accessible interface—suitable for both children and adults—ensuring the platform was easy to navigate across devices.
During development, we built a custom web application that included features like real-time timed exams, automatic scoring, a dynamic ranking system, user roles (admin, parent, student, teacher), and a robust backend for exam and user management. Every component was thoroughly tested for performance and accuracy, especially under high-traffic conditions during mock exam periods. After a successful launch, we continued providing technical support and enhancements to meet growing user needs.
The results speak for themselves. Within the first three months, over 2,000 mock exams were completed through the platform. System reliability remained high, with 99% uptime even during peak usage. The automated scoring and result breakdown significantly reduced the admin workload for the eMock team, while parents appreciated the detailed reports and ranking comparisons. Most importantly, students reported feeling more confident and better prepared for their real exams, validating the effectiveness of the platform. eMock is now not just a mock exam portal—it’s a powerful learning and assessment tool.
